I am ready not only to be bound but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
I testified to both Jews and Greeks about repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus.
So Peter was kept in prison, but prayer was being made earnestly to God for him by the church.
And large numbers of people were added to the Lord.
Then Peter began to speak: “Now I really understand that God doesn’t show favoritism, but in every nation the person who fears Him and does righteousness is acceptable to Him".
So the church had peace, being built up and walking in the fear of the Lord and in the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, and it increased in numbers.
But the Lord said to him, “Go! For this man is My chosen instrument to take My name to Gentiles, kings, and the Israelites."
An angel of the Lord spoke to Philip: “Get up and go south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” So he got up and went.
Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that the intent of your heart may be forgiven you.
